New Delhi: The entertainment industry mourns the loss of Vikas Sethi, a well-known actor from the popular TV show ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. Sethi passed away in Nashik on Saturday night at the age of 48 due to a cardiac arrest, as reported by news agency PTI.
Details of the Sudden Demise
The actor’s wife, Jhanvi Sethi, shared that they had traveled to Nashik to attend a family function. Shortly after their arrival at her mother’s house, Vikas experienced symptoms like vomiting and loose motions. He chose not to visit the hospital, requesting a doctor to come to the house instead. “When I went to wake him up at around 6 am in the morning on Sunday, he was no more. The doctor there told us he passed away last night in his sleep due to cardiac arrest,” Jhanvi informed PTI.
Aftermath and Final Rites
Following his passing, Vikas Sethi’s mortal remains were sent for post-mortem to Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital. His last rites are scheduled to be held in Mumbai on Monday, providing an opportunity for family, friends, and fans to bid their final farewell.
